Great foliage plants and statement grasses are among the most important plants you can add to your borders.  They add form and structure and have a long season of interest.  They are invaluable for knitting together 'the pretties'.  Don't be tempted to miss them out.  Add 1 grass or foliage plant for every two flowering plants.
